OUR LOCATIONAbout Les
Les is a village of around 8,000 people. It is called a Bali Mula or Early Beginnings Village and predates most of the other villages on the island.
Their ceremonies are very different than even their neighbors on either side of them and the language spoken here, even though it is Balinese, is quite unique in its sound and vocabulary.
There is a fairly large waterfall in the upper part of the village that is visited by quite a number of people.
Many people come here to dive as the underwater world is rich with ornamental fish and there is a Coral Restoration project in place that protects the coral reefs from being destroyed.
